can anyone tell me what brake callipers are on the rear of an MY98 uk model eg single or 2 pot,if they are single pot can they easily be upgraded to 2 pots?

If they are monogram 'SUBARU' then they are 2pot rears if not then they are 1 pots.

To upgrade to 2 pots you'll need the calipers, pads, discs, bracket to fit the calipers and bend/cut back the backing plate from memory.

AFAIK Ian at Welcome To Godspeed Motorsport can give you the best advice and probably supply the brackets

Is there any real need to change single pot rears to 2 pots ?

Nope, most of the braking is from the fronts so sort them and balance the rears with decent pads and you're sorted

sorry to jump in but do you now what size discs the two pots with the monogram take as im doing this modification at the mo just need the discs are they 266 or 290mm vented or solid.cheers
