All,

I have a version 6 coupe r and the front disks / pads need replacing.

Ive tried Power Engineering and am looking for other suppliers.

Im not looking at upgrading the disks, just buying standard items. Are this disks the same used on the UK model ? therefore I can go to a normal Subaru dealer ??

I also need front pads ?? And recommendations ??

HELP !!

The disks from a main dealer should be the same as for a UK model but when I last checked I think they were about £140 EACH!

I ended up buying Bremsport Group N Discs from www.tas.uk.com for £107 a PAIR including carriage / VAT I've got Mintex 1155 pads on mine - seem good - but a lot of dust which is hard to get off - these cost around £100 a set including carriage / VAT (www.falkland.co.uk)

Cheers,

Ian.

I'll be after the same setup for my type R as the front disks are cracked, that price for the mintex pads seems expensive, can they be had cheaper elsewhere ?

My discs and pads fitted were £264.96. The parts came from Graham Goodes...dics were his version of the main dealer product (he called them group n but not drilled or grooved!) and the pads were EBC green's.
The fitting was done at full wack price at a local garage.

Thumbs up

Ian,
EXCELLENT recomendation for TAS UK, just ordered a set of disks for £104.77 delivered and from Demon Tweeks some Mintex 1155 pads for £91.84 delivered.

£196.61 total for a front brake upgrade - BARGAIN man

I have used this combination on my last WRX and it was excellent

thanks mate
