Default porous rim????

i have p1 rims on my impreza (17") and one of them never seems to keep full pressure (30psi) for more than a couple of days.

have had the tyre/valve investigated and refitted and it doesn't seem to have helped, they then suggested a porous rim.

can anything be done with this???? is hard work finding a single p1 wheel

was thinking of trying can or two of tyre weld?????

help!!!!

Hmmm a bit of a pain. I have only ever had this problem years ago on a capri 280 it was a real pain in the a***. I did over come it by having a tube put in to the tyre it cured the problem and as the tyre was ok and the wheel was the only problem it was completely safe. I'm not sure if you can still do this or indeed you would want too. Just thought it may be another option to think over. I am sure other users will confirm if this is a reasonable option or not. Good luck

I'm sure you can get a goo put into your tyres to stop them going down(not tyre weld as your only supposed to go at snails pace with it)but where and who does it i cant help.Or failing that you can do what a mate did on his intergrale and take it to a tyre fitters get them to clean the rim of the wheel and get them to put tyre sealer around the rim and pop the bead back on.
