under or over inflated
Hey guys,
just had some new 18 inch Rear slicks put on my car. Now at high speed the back end feels abit skitty and unstable if that makes sense. Does that mean i need to let air out of the tyre or put more in? its currently at 1.1 bar.
Thanks

Is that a hot or cold pressure?
Generally speaking on track you should be aiming for 28 - 30 Psi when hot. So start them off cold at 22 - 23 Psi, do some laps to get them fully up to temp, then come in and test/adjust to the hot pressures.

That makes sense then, 2.1 bar cold would probably be up around 2.8 bar hot. Way too much. They would have been rock hard.
