Default Running in Track Pads

Fitted StopTech front brakes last month, and followed the very detailed running in procedure - 10 hard braking stops from 60mph to 10mph in succession.

I eventually used the hard shoulder of the A3 in the end as even at 11pm stopping hard from 60mph then accelerating to 60 again before performing almost as good as an emergency stop is difficult using the inside lane.

I need to run in some higher friction pads for track day use (Hawk pads) - does anyone know of any better way to do this other than use public roads. Advice from StopTech is to carry out stops from 80mph, then 100mph! with high friction pads.

I'd love to hire a runway for this but sadly I dont work for Mr Clarkson..
