17" or 18" wheels on STi 5
#1
Rubber low on existing tyres so swapping wheels as well.
I have read before that 17" wheels dont seem to affect the ride much & will fit straight on.
With 18" wheels will the ride suffer (if so by how much) & will the wheels rub against the body work ?
With 18" wheels will there be even more grip than 17" wheels ?
Appreciate your comments especially from those who have 18" wheels.
Thanks.
Andy.

I've got 18's on my Sti5, ride qulaity ids okay (better now it has P1 suspension on it tho!)
Tramlining is occasionally severe - my tyres are 215 - i imagine 235's must be even worse, especially when they start to wear.
Worse thing tho is that the wheels (crappy Radius R3's) are incredibly heavy....
Given the choice and cost of tyres, i'd take 17's next time.
