Default What are 2 Pots?

I fitted new discs and pads today and noticed 2 pistons on each caliper, now are these classed as 2 pots or 4 pots i.e both sides = 4 pots?
Thick question i know but had to ask

2 pots means 2 pots on a caliper. So you have 2 pots.

If you don't know the answer then it's not a stupid question. Fair play for asking. I'm sure a lot would have thought they knew but worried about posting in case they were wrong.

Its the ammout of pistons in the calipers, so 1 piston is a 1 pot, 2 is 2 pot, 4 is 4 pot etc.
