Depends how you drive but Mintex 1144/1155 are very good the I have the 44 and can get them to fade with my AP 4 pots but they are quick to cool down, I will be going for the 1155 next time though!

Down to personal choice the Mintex pads are good, i've got the Xtreme ones on my Bug Eye it stops on the dot and doesn't squeal at all which is a novelty with fast road pads, cheap too.

Have had EBC Redstuff first, OK, but ate disc and did not last. Not woth the money £90 - £100
Then Ferrodo DS2500, much better but not great feel from pedal and fade a bit to be honest - I did not really like them after all the good reviews I read - bit of a disappointment. Paid £145
Now on Mintex 1166, excellent - better feel than DS2500, do not fade, not bad at all from cold, only squeel a bit when new and dust is not bad either. Will be buying these again. Paid £120 fitted.
