Brake upgrade on 02 wagon
Hi,
Just bought this car and when running my finger over front discs there is a lip formed, i'm told this a sign that they are worn.
So if I want to replace the fronts what are a good option for this car, I don't want to spend too much preferably but would like something drilled. Any suggestions of what might be good and where best to buy from?

Is the car an Sti version with the Brembo calipers?
If it is, one of the best options you can go for is the Performance Friction 2 piece disc and their z rated pads.
Alyn at AS Performance stocks them.

Lip will be due to wear but is normal and not necessarily worn out, always looks worse than it really is due to rust increasing size of lip. Presume you have standard WRX 24mm thick discs (297mm dia) then worn out would be 22mm on the contact areas.
