What 17" wheels will fit over 6 pot APs.
Im looking for a lightweight wheel 17" which will fit over AP 6 pots.
The car is a 2000 classic.
I am considering Volk TE37 17X7.5 and 215/45 Tyres, (I need this tyre profile for gearing issues). Not sure if TE37s are now discontinued?
The Volk wheels are forged and weigh 15 pounds.
My questions are:
1. Can 7" wide wheels be used instead of 7.5"with 215 tyres?
2. Any other wheels around the same weight?
3. Would I be better to go for 18"s and lower profile tyre, as my main concern is weight, and tyres can weigh more than wheels?

I've a set of 17" Rays STI wheels off a S202 that are being refurbed at the moment if your interested. Should pick them up on monday. These weight next to nothing.
These wheels were designed to fit over brembos so should clear AP's no problem.
I'm open to offers around the £950

I run 330mm and the AP CP5555 6 pot caliper which is renowned for being huge in comparison to other AP 6 pot calipers with the OE forged BBS spec C rims if it's any help they have loads of clearence.
