Default brembo brakes

I have a 2002 wrx jdm, (v7,bug eye)
but i have been told that it has the wrong brakes on it.
It has got EBC discs all round with red stuff pads.
But i want to know if Brembo breaks will fit on my hubs
cheers

They look very small in 18"s

I also have a JDM bugeye. It came with two pot sliding calipers as on yours. So, they are the factory fitted brakes.

However, although they are OK on the road, when I tried mine out on track they wilted double quick!

Now changed to STI brembos/ disks. Straight swap - big improvement.

yep JDM cars all came with the small brakes on the bug-eye WRX cars

although the Brembo and 4pots are a direct fit, make sure you have thw wheels to clear also as the std JDM wheels won't work

to give you an idea of size i have placed a new £20 note on the inside.

here are 2002 Sti brembo's, discs and caliper's.

I must admit there much bigger than i thought too. Im hoping they fit with the WRX wheel's.

If they are the standard newage wrx wheels then they will not fit, you need the STi ones or similar.

They may both be 17" wheels but the STI wheels have a different off set and more space behind the spokes allowing them to clear brembos
