Yes. It's an asymmetrical tread pattern that your looking for then. Try 'mytyres' or similar.

Few and far between. Most high performance tyres are directional which I agree can be a pain if you want more options for swapping around. In addition 225/35/18 is not a mainstream choice as opposed to 225/40/18 so you 're restricted before you start. I believe you can get RE070 in 225/40/18 from Lichfields and some Pirelli and Continental assymetrics are available in 40 profile.

I found at least three from a quick look on mytyres. Kumho KU19, Yoko Prada, P-zero nero.
I don't know how good or bad any of these are.

They are not non-directional Normski....certainly not the Nero's which i have just taken delivery of 2 of them.

I'm planning on having it fitted to a spare Superleggra, thus needing it non-directional. I may just keep with the cheapo 215/35 on it just now and put up with the wrong size for a wee while IF something were to go wrong. Rather have the wrong width than sidewall size.

Thanks guys.

If the tread is asymmetrical then it will just have 'outside' and 'inside' on the sidewall so they can be fitted on the rims the right way. You can then put them on any side of the car you like.

But if it's a "V" grooved tread, how can you have it going either way with the same grip?

it has a wider shoulder that is fitted to the outside, the groves just disperse water.

very similar to the parada spec 2 yokie.

A 'V' grooved tyre is symmetrical. It has a direction.
