Default Alcon Prodrive 4pots, Help Please

First off one of the pistons is sticking on my N/S caliper, is there an easy way of cleaning the piston up on the car so that i don't have to take the caliper off strip it down and bleed the system again when done??????

Also i'm gonna need some new discs soon does anyone know where the best place to get them is???? They are one piece grooved prodrive discs 330mm? I will try to find a pic.

Thanks for any help.

If your piston is sticking your seals may need changing. Best to take them off and have a closer look imo.

Best not to cut corners or it usually ends up being more expensive in the long run (may eat through your new discs).

Give Alyn at AS Performance a call, i have just fitted a set for a mate and suprisingly his dealer matched Alyns price for the Alcon discs and they had them within 24 hours.

Cant imagine this will happen everywhere but worth a try.

Thumbs up

The straight replacement is only from a dealer 330X 28mm alcon discs - about £600?

Alcon also make a replacement two piece, which a few places like Ears Motorsport sell - its about £800 or so initially, but then the replacement rotors cost £287 in future and you just reuse the bells

Godspeed are offering the 2 piece discs for £395 a pair , when you need new discs from then onwards you re-use the bells and just buy the outer part , these come with a 12 month anti warp guarantee even when use on track days.

Welcome To Godspeed Motorsport

They have just signed up to advertise on here so will be along themselves shortly
