MY98 Wagon BRAKE HELL !!
PLEASE HELP !!!
My 98 wagon's brake spec is driving round the bend. !!!
I seem to have the basic 2 pot calipers and would like to upgrade them to the 4 pot version which seems to have been standard fit on the late 98's ....
Anyone know where a good place to start hunting would be ? Also any known issues ? Ie is it a bolt off / on swap or will different mounts be required etc ?
Cheers in advance
Neil

presume this is a turbo we are talking about.................
bolt-on fit as long as you use matching pads, discs, calipers from the 4pot car, and also that you have wheels that will clear
alyn
p.s. can probs lay my hands on a kit of parts,. have to chase the chap up for you

Cheers !!! the saga deepens...
in my infinate wisdom last year I took the advice of a chap in west london over the phone and parted with the best part of £300 for a set of evo sport grooved and dimpled disks and a set of red and green stuff pads ...
Now I was asured they would fit ...... alas not hence the need for the upgrade of the calipers.... Now having just measured the discs its seems they are 295mm not the 277's I assumed. So now im not so sure they will fit the standard 4 pots either......
so anyone in need of some brand new discs and pads ?
