hi-spec 315mm monster kit

how good are these now? have had a look in the search section, and there seam to be some bad rep with them, but that was in 2003-2005 ish

anything changed, or best to avoid?

Havn't had any personal experience with them... but have a friend who rallies with hi-spec as his stopping power. Albeit they're the black callipers, not the gold road ones, but he recommends them all the same.
