Default braided hose problems?

fitting godspeed red brembo conversion to my classic.

fitted the kit and brakes were extremley hard. one piston was previously stuck but have freed it off. after this went for a spin and split a metal brake line at union. metal lines were all replaced a few months back. took off braided line on side it split at and tried blowing through with compressor. compressor cuts out at preset level.

i take it i should be able to blow through a braided line by mouth pretty easily?, which i cant.

if so would braided lines for gold brembos fit ok? distance between collar going through strut bracket and caliper union is about 26.5cm.

any help greatly appreciated.

I've got a pair of screw in Goodridge hoses for aftermarket Brembos if you want them.
They have a couple of rub marks on the plastic cover but are only a month old.
£15
