Default Using different profiles front and back

Had two tyres go today. Ones been a bit of a slow puncture for a while, and looks like its been driven on, mangling the wall. Other had a long nail in it.
Anyway, I just had some spare tyres fitted from another set of wheels I had, and only after did I notice they were 205/45/17's and not 215/45/17 like I have.
They are a different brand, so I'm going to get F1's to match what I had.
But the question is: Will it be ok to run the 205's on the front with the 215's on the back, for maybe a week. Or is it a big No No?

That's a 5 mm difference in radius between the two if the 215's and the 205's are both full-depth tread.

Subaru don't recommend having a difference of more than 2 mm, although you can get a difference of that amount just from wear if you don't rotate the tyres. The key thing is what is the actual circumference of the tyres, more than 6 mm difference is outside the 'approved' range. If the 205's are newish and the 215's are fairly worn you might be fine if you take it easy for a week.

Is it worth the risk ?

Yeah, thought it was a bit too much. I'll have to wait until I get new tyres in the week.
thanks

Getting new tyres this week anyway, but just thought about it. Its not the radius that is affected, just the width of the tyre. so it shouldn't screw anything up, should it?
I can understand when its the profile, which is what I said in the title, but should have said width, but its not.

The 45 (profile bit) is a percentage of the width so 205/45 and 215/45 are different profile and will give you a different radius as its 45% of 205 and 45% of 215. I would only put different tyre profiles as an emergency get me home situation. I hope this helps
