Question Replace all 4 tyres together...?

I've heard it's recomended to change all 4 tyres at the same time on a Scooby because of the AWD. Is this true as I my front tyres need replacing but the rears seem ok....

Just change those that need changing - you'll have no problems.

Due to the power split front and rear, and the fact you only steer with the front wheels the ware will alway be different.

If you change all the wheels at the same time, you'll go through an awful lot of tyres unnessaccary. I suppose you could sell the rears off as part worn.

As long as you go for the same brand all round, it doesn't really matter for normal fast road use.

Basically all 4 is ideal, but being pratical just a pair at a time will be fine.

Never change just one side though, always in pairs front and rears.

This is where rotating front to rears helps, although you end up needing to buy 4 tyres at a time instead of spreading the cost IYSWIM..?

However, you usually get a better deal when buying four, which is why I rotate once fronts get around 50% worn..

Purely personal preference..

Default Swapping....

Thanks for the info guys.. If I swapped the front and backs, is this as straight forward as just swapping them over or do I need to worry about wheel alignment etc... ?

Won't hurt alignment. You will need to readjust tyre pressures.
