Pads for front 03 STI, Red/green stuff??
Had a look at the pads on the front of the car,
I dont need them yet but i will do with a month.
I like to be prepaired so what should i put on the front.
Can get red stuff pads for £99 or green stuff for £75
Would people recomend them? is the price good (ebay) or could i do better?
All comments welcome!

If you decide on EBC's then get Redstuff Ceramic.
Personally would go for Ferodo DS2500's or Pagid RS4.2-1 Black.
Cost a bit more but you get what you pay for.

I tried EBC Red Ceramics, never again. Wore out in no time. Ferodo DSPF (used to be DS2000) are a good road pad, some find the DS2500 scarey when cold. Pagid Blue are good too.

i went for the ds2500 very good
when cold they need 1 or 2 stops to get them warmish and they're good to go
very good bite and brake power
cheaper than the stock ones
i heard about EBC wrapping disks all the time...

Never had any probs with DS2500 (front and back) from cold. Published cold friction not much less than for working temperature. Now got Pagid Blue in fronts as they'll take a bit more abuse, no probs with that from cold either.
Just a thought but my car always garaged, perhaps some will suffer wet brakes from cold which will affect cold braking.
