Paradas grip better in the dry but won't last as long. I'm told (not tried myself) that they don't cope well with the heat generated by track-days. I use mine on the road and have Falkens for the track.

Had both types and the Toyo's definately fair better than the paradas. Yoko's no good in the wet look pretty but not suited to scoobs. Pirelli P Zero Nero's my first choice.
Paradas on Sti 8 running 340bhp
Toyos on classic PPP
P1 and WRX bugeye on Pirellis the best

Agree that they are'nt too clever in the wet though .
Out of interest what sort of tyre pressures are people running on 18's ?.

I ran Prada's in the past, thought they were good in the dry a little less good in the wet.
Then ran Good year F1's... wear rate is not good, but great grip in all conditions.
Now have Toyo T1R's.... I've not run them in the wet, but the dry grip is good, but the feel of the car is horrid... i can feel the tyres moving around on the side walls and gives an unsettled feeling, which gives me little confidence in setting the car up for bends. have just increased the pressures to see if this improves the feel. but as i normaly push bends very hard, i sudenly don't feel i can any more. which is a great shame, as i had hoped to use these if i have a wet session during "Time attack". think i will take my chances with the track tyres in the wet now.
