TYRE CHOICE HELP NEEDED......??
I am looking for some advice on some new tyres for a newage wrx.. i am staying with the original wrx tyre size of 215/45/17 so my first choice of michelin ps2"s is out because they are not available in that size.. can any one recommend michelin exalto as they seem to be the next best thing.. Some people like toyos or pirelli -zero neros or may be i should stick with the bridgestone reo 50"s.. i just want a tyre with good wet dry handling and not to much road noise..Any advice would be greatly appreciated..

Had michelin exaltos on my dads company Accord - Not very good IMHO although obviously a totally different class of car
As above I'm a big fan of F1's - Good in wet and dry (and they last for ever compared to others I've had)

Had toyo proxes before my F1's - Good tyres but I prefer the F1's
The f1's seem to suit my style - My dad hates them
I notice very little difference in the wet and the snow a few weeks ago was no problem
They are slightly more noisy than the Toyo's were but I only seem to notice it at low speed or on what I would class as bad tarmac (but they're 205/45/16 on a classic so it will differ - and before someone shoots me yes I know they should be 205/50/16 - this may also add to the noise)
