Default Question on Rear Pads and discs

Just a Quick question for you lot that know more about pads and discs, then me as im still learning.

Want to replace my Rear Pads and Discs on my 2003 WRX, the front already have Ferodo 2500 and Grovved Disks,

Car is mainly a Road car with a one or Two track days and Pod runs a Year, thats about it.

Have seen some delphi pads and Discs for the rear

39 Quid for the Discs for the pair and
25 Quid for the same make Pads.

Would these be ok to use?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks
Wayne

same with you i use my car as a daily car and weekend track... i was using endless pad 0-800 degress for the front and stock pads for rear... only after changing the front set 3 times then i notice the rear needs replacement... then i went for a 0-300 degree for the rear...

but comparing stock to aftermarket... for the rear does not make a big difference in my point of view... cause braking bias still is more to the front..

i'd say that brakes are the most important things on your car ... if you really trust your life to a £64 set of discs and pads .....

I have recently done a track day and destroyed front DS3000 pads and some more or less OE rear pads. The rear pads don't even wipe the rust off the discs any more. I bought a completely new big brake kit for the fronts but the backs will also need new pads as the car is now unbalanced braking-wise (all this in an MY03 WRX).
Moral: get decent rear pads too. (£115 for DS2500s - Ouch!)

As long as your rear discs are in good nick and not getting towards the end of their servicable life they will be fine.
