Just fitted Prodrive pff7's and....
Hi
I have just fitted genuine 18'' Prodrive pff7 wheels to my 2002 Impreza Sti, the tyre pressures are all at 32 psi (front & rear) and I have also tried 34 front and 32 back..
Since I have had these fitted the steering wheel is ok, straight but when going down a straight road and take my had off the steering wheel the car gradually goes to the left...
anyone have any ideas if this is a balancing problem or tracking etc?
The car didnt do this on its 17'' sti wheels that were originally on it..
cheers
Andy

Try going down a road with not a lot of taffic, country lane etc. Put the car in the middle of the road and then let go of the wheel. If it stays straight then nothing wrong, it has just got more sensative to the camber. Mine did after the geomatry was done.

Just some thoughts to keep you busy.
As Barmyclown has mentioned .... the larger wheels will be more sensitive to camber and tramlining etc. If nothing else has been touched and as long as the wheels are all straight and the tracking/tyre pressures/ same type of tyres all round etc are ok its probably just the way it will be unfortunately.
You could swap the front wheels over just to prove a point, after that you might be able to improve it with a more sporty geometry setup.
Also make sure your brakes not binding on that side (even a little bit will cause a pull).
