Hi

I have an 02 WRX and have a grinding sound from the brakes when coming to a stop - very noticeable driving in traffic.
Car has new front discs and pads and I've just repalced the rear pads.

Any ideas please ????

If pads and disc's have just been replaced, then they are still running in. You are supposed to avoid hard braking for 200 miles or so. Its should stop after a while. If it is that. How many miles you done on the new brakes so far?

fronts have been on for about 3000 miles rears about 200 miles.....

Sounds like you need to take the wheels off and check the pads haven't disintegrated or worn out prematurely!

Also look for any small stones that might have been picked up or badly fitted shims/retaining clips on the pads that might be rubbing on the discs.
