Question WD40 & dust seals

Does WD40 ruin the dust seals? My brake calipers needs a cleanup while changing pads, WD40 is a perfect solvent.

Isn't wd40 quite flammable?

Not sure about seals, I've bin told the main ingredient is fish oil.

I think WD40 is sort of parafin based and not a good idea, also it might lubricate your discs. You can buy proper brake cleaning sprays which must be OK but I just clean mine with a toothbrush.
