Final set of tyres before it goes...
...hi guys,
I have only 6 months of ownership of my current scoob left - due to be changed on September 1st this year.
I am at the point where I now need to be changing the front tyres (again) and wanted some recommendations. I have always stuck to Michelen/Pirelli etc but I believe I've missed a trick but not going for Toyo's (everyone raves about them!)
So, my question is, for the final swansong with my car, what tyres do I go for? Obviously the weather is only going to get better now (assuming we've seen the worst) so something semi-track-y would not be totally off the cards, if there were tangible benefits to be had over a tradtitional road tyre.
Car is a blobeye (54 plate) WRX.
Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions

Should have added...
The car is a company smoker, fully expensed so cost is (within reason!) not an issue.
I'm going to try and cram in a couple of track days within this time also, so new fronts purchased now will probably have given their best by the time I move it back to the lease company on 01/09.

Not tried the F1's on my scoob, I thought they were predominantly a wet-weather tyre - are they good in the dry?
You don't recommend Toyo's then? They aren't going to outperform my Michy's or some F1's?

Nah, good tyre the Toyo, had T1'S on before, nevr tried the T1-R but heard good things about them.
Got Goodyears on now and love them, good all round tyre especially the XL versions.

Soar like an Eagle ;)
Eagle F1's
- most info I have read is that Goodyears & Bridgestones are top of the pack for the Scoob, Bridgestones marginally better in the dry, goodyears marginally better in the wet...
