what tire's (tyre's) too big for gc8?
i was wanting to put a set of 225/45/16 on the gc8. is it too wide? will the scrub radius (correct term?) be to big and hit the inner fender on hard cornering? i checked the dia. and it's the same but that doesn't mean anything necessarily. i've been stumped on this for a while so any advice is appreciated.

225/45-16 is quite commonly used for trackday tyres on the GC8 (eg. Yoko A048) but typically you need to have the rear arches 'rolled' to prevent rubbing. With standard offset wheels they will clear coilovers; not sure about standard struts.

thanks andy for the informed response. looks like I'll go for the 205/50/16 just get a more grippy tire.
as far as the circumfrence p1 the 205/50/16 is 75.61 around whereas the 225/45/16 is 75.30 so it's only .31" smaller so it really wouldn't change much it would show that your speedo is going about half a mile faster than actual speed.
