WHAT TYRES???????????
Going for 18s soon so looking for tyres. Either P Zero Rosso (extra load) or T1 Rs. Whats the opinion on these and what do Prodrive recommend?

I have been looking intop Yokohama A048Rs
But it depends on what you want them for i suppose. I am personally sticking to RE050 on mine but other seem to favour Goodyear GSD 3 other Toyo T1Rs.
But 90% of the time you wont be able to tell the difference. thats why i am getting myself a set of summer/trackday tyres and wheels with semi slicks on.

Nice to see someone straying from the normal upgrade path
I had the opportunity to drive Frayz's car for a couple of days last week and would like to say that I was whole heartedly impressed, I've been a passanger on many occassion but not really driven it to comment on it's set-up.
It just inspires confidence.
It's a relatively soft set-up which bodes well for our UK roads but if you begin to push the chassis, it tightens up and you can really lean on it in both wet and dry, with it's wet weather performance being quite simply - astonishing

I've been trying hard to find some ultracs but can't - even mytyres.co.uk has stopped doing them. I went for parada 2s from the 'bay for £70 each in the end. They have been excellent so far even in the snow and slush - won't last long though I'm told.

Having had both of the tyres you mentioned, I would go for the toyo t1-r as if its just road driving you do then its not worth paying the extra for the pirelli's. Both excellent tyres tho.
