Default Falken ZR-512

Hey Guys,

What are these tyres like on a scoob.

Got the chance to grab a couple of new ones for around £130 (215 40 17)

Anyone tried these?
What they like in the wet?
what they like in the dry?

Thanks in advance.

Did a lot of research before buying my last set.
Falken 512s NOT liked at all on here and didn't go down well in motoring press either.

Newer Falken 452s much improved according to motoring press and they got a couple of good reveiws here too.

I bought a set and couldn't really tell the difference in overall grip between these and Toyo Proexes I had before, ie I was chuffed. Although they are a harder ride and perhaps because of this I found there was more steering feel.

No 1st hand experience of the 512s, but heard they are not really what you'd be hoping for.

Pretty much the response I thought I would get.
My friend runs them on his Escort Cos and says they're great.

Thanks guys, will look around

Hi mate, did excactly the same research myself and having fitted some falken 452's fitted tommorrow which have been highly recomended. have a look at FALKENTYRES.CO.UK - BUY FALKEN TYRES ONLINE, DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR!, the 452's arent much more than the 512's and the 512's run down very quick too.
