Default Linglong tyres?!

Anyone had linglong tyres before? I know the name dosent sound too promising but I'm on a bit of a budget and just wanted some of your experiences with these. I know someone who had some on a scoob as part of a alloy wheel package, they seem to handle ok and dont seem to be wearing down very fast, just want some more opinions on them if possible.

i had them on my scoob for about 3 months. then all the side walls started spliting open really bad. went back to where i got them and told them ever so "politely" ( ) that i wanted them to change them free of charge as they werent very good.
so , i (personally) think they are utter ****e and would rather have spent my hard earned cash on an 80 year old prostitute , with no teeth, and a nasty rash.... HTH

i had them on a set of wheels on my old scoob, tyres are fine if you dont plan any high speed cornering, dont grip to well at higher speeds, but good budget tyre,as the saying goes mate, you get what you pay for!!

LOL I thought you were joking with the 'linglong' tyres name. But then I though 'Nangkang' was made up at first. Weird how these crappy tyres only ever seem to come on wheel/tyre packages.

Performance car, with crap tyres!

Budget or not, buy the best tyres you can afford! There are some big brands that will put you in a ditch when the weather is thinking about raining!!

Falkens are as budget as I would go and they are surprisingly good!

really would recommend decent tyres... will make a world of difference and can you justify scrimping on safety?

Arent falken fk452's decent tyres? I've read on here and other sites some people prefer these to toyo proxes or yoko's. also porshe have used kumhos for motorsport. Do agree on the safety bit though!
