just got some f1's put on the car ( ) and realised that i now need to fork out for a new set of discs (and pads too!) - on top of a full service!

am currently using Pagid pads which have been great and was thinking of getting the same again but need to decide on discs! spoke to Alyn (AS performance) who suggested unless im gonna really really thrash the car to just replace the discs with standard issue stuff (quite cheap but good quality).

if im going to have to change them anyway, is it worth getting better ones??
any thoughts? (will probs follow alynns advice but thought would also consult scoobynet!)
