wilwood brakes - any good??
I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my 2003 WRX and was initially looking at tarox 6 pots, but after talking with Alyn at AS performance, he has sold me on the KAD kit at around £1400.
Before I spoke with Alyn, I emailed Wilwood and tonight I just got their reply, they say they can do front 6 pots and rear 4 pots for the same price as the KAD front kit.
I am pretty sure I'll stick with the KAD kit as I want something that'll fit under stock WRX wheels, but are Wilwood any good??

I have Wilwood 6 pots on my v5 typeR and the performance and quality of these brakes can't be faulted, the problem, IMO, lies in trying to obtain spares.
Wilwoods distributer is Rally Design and from my experience they only seem to stock the consumables ie: discs & pads. I recently required a new centre bell and I'm currently facing a two month wait
Stick with Alyn's recomendation and avoid any possible future frustration

the disks come - 304mm (16 inch wheels), 330mm (17) and 356mm (18).
They come in various colours - red, blue, black, silver and gold. You can also mix and match, if gold calipers and silver bellsor all on colour.
