Default which tyres !

ok , need to replace tyres on my classic - currently have potenza's on the rear and eagle tornadoes ( i think these are cheapies ! ) on the front....

what should i replace with -

bridgestone
pirelli P6000's
michelin pilots ....

others ???? ( toyo proxes ?? )

have the standard 16inch 5 spokes with 205/50/16's ...also what speed rating should i go for ! currently have V on the front and W on the rear - is there much difference.

only used on the road - no track days or anything too hardcore !

I have the same size wheels as yoy mate and have been VERY impressed with the performance of Goodyear Eagle F1s!

Have a look at Vredestein, which i believe have won the Auto Express tyre test two years running. Previous owners of my STI swore by them. 20k later and my Vredestein Ultracs are still wearing well, excellent grip in wet and dry. think they do winter/summer tyres too.

Default Which Tyres?

Can honestly say after tyre fitters have incorrectly fitted AVONS to my WRX ... DO NOT USE THEM. Car is now like its permanently on ice and driving experience is not pleasant. Personally had 23,000 miles out of my Bridgestone Potenza's and plenty of good response when cornering.

As a new member I will await comments from others to see what tyres I should be going for!
