changing the bells from disc 2 disc
Ian Godspeed has sent me a set of replacment discs, the 335mm converstion.I already have a set of his disc on but one of them has warpped on me. So all i gotta do know is swap the alloy bells over onto the new discs.
Heres where im hoping you guys can help me out, Now wot i would like to know is is there a tightening up sequence with the nuts and bolts so that you don t pull the disc out of shape when tightening them down and do they have to be tightend down to a specific torque setting ?
I have emailed Ian this question but i got no reply
cheers
James

Yes I would tighten them up in a pattern similar to how a 5 bolt wheel is done up. Sort of not quite opposite the previous one.
The torque setting for my Ap bell mounting is 14Nm (~10lb.ft). These are allen headed bolts that are around M5 or 6 kind of size, not that tight (you could use some Loctite on them if you wanted).

hope they are not like mine ,
i have godspeed 335s and asked ian if they were interchangeable rotors as mine were cracking.
, eventually i got a reply of yes, ordered rotors and eventually got them to find most holes had run off so none aligned!
had to redrill my bells to fit the new rotors!
i don't think he mandrel drills or CNC!
