Default Noticably heavier?

Hi,

Just a quicky question.

Ordering some TSW Volcanoes (215/40/17), for my 94 WRX, just wondering if the car will feel noticably heavier than the standard ones before? (205/50/15).

I don't wan't to slow the car down!!

Hope someone can help
thanks

I have been swapping wheels on my wrx last week, went from 18 inc manic vortex 225/40/18 to std subaru 15 inch alloys, i noticed the difference when changing the wheel and out of curiousity got them on the scales, the 18's were 7 kg per wheel heavier, thats 28kg extra wt to be pulled, lower profiles corner better though and it looks better with the 18's so they went back on

the ride is significantly harsher with the 18's too, but i dont realy notice much difference in performance, as you get used to the car and forget how light it was with the small wheels on.
