I've getting some 17" Rota Tarmac 2 wheels in gunmetal tomorrow to go on my 95 Classic WRX
I've got to shod them with some boots and I was wondering what to go for. I'm kinda stumped which brand and profile to choose.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions 'cos I'm running out of time
I know I need 215 tyres but after that I'm awash in a sea of options

Ideally the profile should be 40 to keep the rolling circumference as close to standard as normal which in turn keeps the speedo reasonably accurate and prevents rubbing when the car is heavily loaded. But saying all that quite a few have a 45 profile and get away with it. Tyre brand always is the difficult one as everyone has their favourite for different reasons, but there's loads of threads if you have a quick search.

Have a look on "mytyres.co.uk". Very good prices if you know someone who can fit the tyres for you. Goodyear f1 very popular but also a make called Vredstein have very good results in tyre surveys especially in wet.
