If they're the Subaru branded 2-pots, they should still use the 266mm vented discs that most later classics used.

They handbrake remains 170mm, as per most classics.

Pretty sure this is right. Feel free to flame me if proved otherwise

2 pot cars all use a 290mm discs.................

as above classic cars are generally "type-R's" and have a 190mm h/brake, new-age cars use a similiar set-up but with a 170mm h/brake.........

Can't remember where I saw it, but someone was running standard 266mm vented rear discs, 170mm h-brake, 2-pots and appropriate brackets/adapters.

My reply probably didn't really put across what I meant, sorry for the confusion.

The ideal setup would be 290mm discs with 170mm h-brake, appropriate bracket to match the 2-pots to the smaller mounts on the classic (non Type-R) backplates.

I run 2 pot rears on my MY98 WRX.

I use 290mm new age discs with the original 170mm hand brake. The brackets were from Dyney if anyone needs them.

The brackets definately will NOT allow the use of the 266mm discs.
