Default ABS Concern

HELP!!!

can anyone tell me if (a) a 2001 newage comes with ABS and (b) if it does then why does mine not work.??????

I had to brake sharply earlier today and slid across the road with all wheels locked up. Surely this shouldnt happen should it.

It has the Prodrive Upgrade on it and discs on the front the size of a small spaceship.

Do i need to take it back to Subaru and get them to check it out????

Any Help Greatly Appreciated

Dave

In the absence of one of the gurus...

Yers, it should have ABS fitted (unless it's an R or RA I believe). No, it definitely isn't working. Yes, I would get down to your local dealer/specialist sharpish.
