Exclamation different tyre ratios

I've just picked up a set of 17" Speedlines but 2 tyres are 40 profile and 2 have a 45 profile.

If I put the 215/40's on the front and the 215/45's on the rear will it throw the centre diff out?

Yes it can do, yu need to really run 4 of the same tyres with the same numbering, ie 225/45/17 not say 205/45/17 and 215/40/17 together.
