Yeah standard Subaru 4-pots will actually fit under the standard 5 spoke 16" wheels - so the 17s should be no problem. The only 17" wheel that I know to have a problem are the Speedline Chronos that some people have.
These are the discs I have on my STi (with Subaru 4 pots)

I have a set of 4-pots under my 16" 6-spoke Subaru alloys. They fit perfect and use a standard 294 x 24.0 mm ventilated disc. Some suppliers show this as a 295mm diameter rather than 294. Only thing to watch out for is the Graham Goode '4-pot' discs that seem cheap until you realise that they only come with 23mm of thickness when brand new -which makes them effectively half worn already. All others come with 24mm full thickness. I will have a pair of half worn (23mm) genuine Subaru discs that I'm selling soon if you're interested. Just PM me if you are.
