i'm in serious need of some new rubber and have narrowed the search down to a set of either:

Goodyear EAGLE F1 GS-D3 225/40 ZR18 92Y XL BSW, VSB

or

Toyo PROXES T1-R 225/40 ZR18 92Y RF Rim-protectionleiste



Anyone tried both or have an opinion. I've not been too impressed with the wear of my t1-s so am a bit wary of going with toyos again.

I found the T1-S's wore out very quickly too. I then tried the T1-R's and the wear rate seems to be twice as long! I have done 15k on them now and they are coming up to needing replacing.

Not tried Toyos but the F1s I had (205/50zr16 87y on a 93wrx)on the car when they reached the end of their useful (and legal) life they still gripped in the dry and wet extremely well and they had done about 12k.
