What causes tyre squeal on car parks
What causes this, it happens to me on most car parks (the odd roundabouts too) but the daft thing is I could understand it if i was going fast
but the car parks it even does it at 5mph turning into a space !!!!!
is it the compound of tyre that does it, under/over inflation, tyres on back to front etc etc
Anyone know, it cant be the surface too much, as it hasnt done it on previous cars
It has started to happen more on roundabouts too, usually with a touch of understeer, but any slower round them and I could potentially start causing traffic jams !! so now I have to drive around them slowly to avoid the squeal and hopefully preserve the tyres a bit more
Oh and this squeal usually just comes from the drivers front

Could be tracking that is out??? If you let go of the wheel does the car track left or right?
Also tarmac composition of a certain type or painted concrete causes this.
Nothing serious though.

I always put it down to the width of the tyres, hot tarmac, and the fact that the inner egde of the tyre travels less/more distance than the outside....
Could be wrong though./.....
