Default Bridgestone potenzas- any good?

anyone have first-hand experience of Potenza RE 050 A ?
thinking of a swap /change from goodyear eagles GSD3 which are ready for renewal.
after a grippy summer road tyre, and odd trackday use. gsd3s have been fine, altho they got a little ripped up on donnington, but great grip dry/wet and no probs with them.

alternative coming in around similar price is P ZERO ROSSO Asimmetrico 225/40 ZR18 92Y

car is a gt4 st205

I find the Potenzas pretty poor in the wet. When I replace them I've going to try Toyo Proxes T1Rs: Powerstation have recommended them to me as the best for the car

Just taken the rossos off my car and they were superb both wet and dry. Would have had these again but couldn't stretch that much so settled with T1-rs.
