Wheel camber
Just has the wheels aligned after fitting some Eibach coilovers. The current readings for rear camber are -2.5 and -3.5. Is it possible to alter this? Will it produce a lot of tyre wear?

Yes I would have thought your tyres would last a quarter of the time they should with that much neg camber. Should handle like its on rails though.
What year car do you have?

It's as bad as I thought then...
It's an 02 GX. Is it easily adjustable ? I suppose I could increase the height of the coilovers.
It was measured by a reputable garage, and was noted by the mechanic, although nothing was suggested about it being a problem or a need to rectify it.

Yea something like that or the whiteline camber adjuster bolts should do the trick. They aren't that expensive but it will need to go back on the alignment equipment to get setup.

I'd be very inclined to question the reading- either the car is VERY low or the reading is incorrect.
We only run 4 degrees neg on the front of the race car, and its a massive amount. The tyre comments are valid; we have to change wheel bearings for every 20 hours running at 4 degrees neg.

I wouldn't say the car is very low. There's a good 20mm gap at the top of the wheel where I can see the spring/strut.
I just tried a rough measurement with a plumb line and ruler and it does appear to be about -3.5 degrees.
When I had the Eibachs installed they said something about having to use the original mounts. Dunno if this is related.
Anyway, there should be some camber bolts arriving in the post, so I should be able to get it towards -1.5, which I imagine would be ok.
