Smile Briaded hoses on 97 Classic

Fitted braided brake hoses over the weekend.

Back Diamond kit and they came with clamps / brackets, but they are not a direct fit. The hole where the origianl ones were routed through is a large square one and the new hoses will just chaff I guess.

Think I ought to get some rubber tube or bung or something to stop this.

Anyone had the same thing ?

Is the performace worse if the hoses are not secured ? (Cant see why it would be.)

Did I get the wrong kit ?

Done the trick though

a lot of the cheaper kits don't have any of the proper securing clips in place, the likes of the Goodridge ones have the correct fittings, age for age...........

shouldn't be an issue as long as they are protected properly an secured
