Can anyone out there help I have KAD 6 pot calipers fitted to the front of my car. I recently had the pads changed. When fitted they were fine but now they are loose in the caliper and the two metal shims rattle on the top and the bottom of the pads! can you buy thicker shims? or extra shims? is this normal?
If it helps the pads fitted were mintex 1155 compound has anyone had simular problems with these pads?

Can't vouch for the 6pots but the standard 4pots have metal 'cross' shaped clips that secure round the pad retaining pins top & bottom preventing the pads themselves from rattling about.

I spoke to someone at KAD. Apparently This is normal al you have to do is put a bit of silicon under the shims
