Default Newage wheels on a classic

This is probably a frequently asked question but will new age wheels fit on a classic?

Yes no problems, the tyres are 215/45 which should fit but the recommended size for classics are 205/45 or the more common 215/40/17's

As far as I am aware my my99 is running the standard suspension so should the 215/45s fit ok? I don't really want to have to get into arch mods etc and may possibly lower by 35mm in future. Is this a problem and are the offsets the same as for the classic wheels?
Cheers

215/45's should fit but your speedo maybe slightly out.
Offsets are pretty much the same usually about et53/55, newage wheels are designed to clear 4 pots no problems.
Don't know if you'll have issues if you lower it though

They will fit fine

I run a MY98 on 215 45 tyres (new age WRX wheels) lowered 20mm (eibach springs) not had a problem in the 5 years I've had them on
