Question

Iam currently debaiting which brakes to go for on my uk300. I I plan on changing the hoses to stainless versions and the upgrading the fluid at the same time. Not wishing to turn this into another AP v's Alcon issue I just have a couple of questions that I need a little help on. 1)would the fitting of non prodive brakes cause a any kind warrenty issues?, 2)Does the Prodive Alcon kit come with stainless hoses / which pads are supplied? 3)Which fluid is best, Scoobysport pro race or dot5.1?.
Any adivice would be much appreciated.

Nigel, fitting other make brakes should not affect the warranty on anything but the brakes. Prodrive Alcons do not come with braided hoses, pads are Ferodo DS2000. 5.1 fluid is the highest rating.

Cool

Hi,

I have found a setup of similar design to the AP, but of better quality and performance for a fraction of the price. I have sorted an unbelievable price for a group buy!! Just over £700 for a full ally caliper and disk setup. Have a look at the group buy post, in this section.

Cheers,
Martin
