Default how much brake fluid

At the weekend i'm changing my brake lines too some goodridge braided lines, i'm also going to refil the system with dot 5.1. question is how many litres will i need? i've been told by some people that 1 litre is more than enough but others say definately 2 litres..

My classic took almost one litre (replacing old yellow fluid with blue, to make the flush obvious) when replacing front hoses and calipers for aftermarket 4-pots. Haven't yet replaced rear hoses cos the supplier sent me the wrong fitting first time around...

That was with one cycle of bleeding. You could use more if it takes more than one go to get rid of the air.

Good luck re seized unions - I had one needing re-making on my 11-yr old 115k mile WRX.
