Default Disc's

How do I tell if the disc's are fcuked?

Got a grinding noise now as the break pads are non-exsistant.......so going to replace them but wondered how you can tell if the disc's are ruined?

They are still smooth and not rough to the touch?

cheers

you need a vernier to measure the discs properly..........................

normally have a max 2mm wear limit under the std size, e.g. 294mm discs for the 4pot calipers start at 24mm and are shot by 22mm..................

The easiest way is to look at how big the lip is round the edge of the disk. If the disks are flat all the way to the edge they are new. If there is a massive ridge on the rim then they are worn. You can generally tell by feeling them.
